Dr. Shivram Mehta was born in 1949 in Charanwas of Sambhar Taluka in Jaipur district, Rajasthan.
After having completed school education from Renwal, he completed MBBS from Sawai Mansingh Medical College, Jaipur in 1971.In the same year, he joined Indian army as a doctor and rendered his services on Amritsar border during Indo-Pak war.
Served as a professor and head of department (Medicine) after completing MD at Armed forces medical college, Pune. He was honoured with VSM (VISHIST SEVA MEDAL) by the President of India for services during Kargil war in Srinagar.
During the service of 39 years in Indian army, he also served as Director General of medical services and got retired in 2010 with the honour of AVSM (ATI VISHISHT SEVA MEDAL) by the President . He has been an honorary surgeon to the President of India.
After retirement, he has been a patron at SREE (Society for rural education and empowerment) foundation Bhilai, Chattisgarh.
He has been a member of board of Directors in Ramkrishnan Mishan, C scheme Jaipur.
These three books – धर्मों का धर्मसंकट, मेरे अनुभव और सुझाव, and जीवन-दर्शन are the first hand experience of his life and learning.
